Browsing the art
You can explore the collection without creating an account. The website does not include analytics, advertising trackers, or a newsletter sign-up. Paintings and fonts are served with the website, rather than embedded from outside services.
Your settings and the light
The website respects your device’s reduced-motion preference. This preference is used within your browser and is not sent to a server.
Your collection search, filters, and number of loaded paintings are remembered within your browser session so you can return to the same results after viewing a work. Browser history snapshots use session storage; this information is not sent to a server.
The changing light uses your device’s local clock. Pointer and scroll movements shape the visual effects within your browser. These effects do not request your location, and the website does not record or send these movements or your local time to a server.
The website code does not set cookies.
Contacting Joyce
Email and telephone links open your chosen email or calling app. If you send an inquiry, Joyce receives the contact details and message you choose to share. Email is handled through the email providers involved, rather than through a form on this website.

Print links take you to Fine Art America. Purchases, payment details, and any account you create there are handled on that service, under its own privacy terms. Other external links also take you to separately operated websites.
Delivering the website
Loading a page sends a request to the website’s hosting service. That request includes technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, and information supplied by your browser. This is separate from the local settings and effects described above.
The hosting provider, any access or security logs it keeps, and how long those records are retained have not yet been confirmed for the redesigned site.
